What is Artsonia?
Artsonia is an educational company founded to use the power of the Internet to unleash the creativity of young
people all over the world! I have chosen to participate in this program to promote your students' pride, self-
esteem and multi-cultural understanding and increase family involvement with their child's art education!
Parents, relatives and friends can view the artwork online, send positive comments to the artist, join the artist's
"Fan Club", even order gifts with the artwork imprinted on them (coffee mugs, mousepads, t-shirts, and more!)
The proceeds of any orders from your child’s class go directly to the Home School Building as a donation.

How do you ensure privacy for young students?
On the Artsonia website, each student is identified only by a screenname which is usually the student's first
name and number (e.g., Sarah22). There is no way for any website visitor to find out the identity of the student
or to directly contact the student. Artsonia strictly follows all US government regulations on protecting children's
privacy on the Internet and our policies are compliant with those of most school districts in the US, Canada and
W. Europe.
How do I find my child's artwork on the website?
If you know your child's screenname, then you can search for his/her artwork by entering the screenname in the
find artist section of the homepage. Alternatively, you can also find the artwork by typing in the URL www.
artsonia.com/screenname (where screenname is your child's screenname such as Lisa22). If you do not know
the screenname, then browse to your school from the home page.
How do I leave a comment for an artist?
Go to the artwork and then click on "comment on this artwork". (Note: as a parent, you must register to approve
the comments before they will be publicly posted on the website.)
How do I enable my child to receive comments on their artwork?
Parents must register and give permission for their child to receive comments on their artwork. After registration,
parents will be sent an email to approve each comment that is left for their child.
What is a fan club and how do I add members to it?
Each artist has their own "fan club". Fan club members are friends and relatives who support your child's
creativity, and get emailed when new comments are left for your child, and when new artwork is published by
your child. You can invite relatives to the fan club by clicking on the "join fan club" link next to the artwork.
What are the awards my child can win?
By simply being published on Artsonia, your child wins the "published artist" award. This is for being officially
published in an international art museum. In addition, your child can win other trophies for getting lots of
comments, fan club members, and other stats on the website. For more information, click on the award details
